OPEN HOUSE EVALUATION CLINICS

The Arizona Region allows clubs to host a maximum of 3 Pre-Tryout Evaluation Clinics per age group during the 10 day Open House Period.  These eval clinics are an opportunity to learn more about LIVEWIRE, view our 3 court facility, meet and train with our coaches, and determine if you'd like to tryout at LW. 

ATTENDING MULTIPLE CLINICS 

Players are encouraged to attend multiple Eval Clinics at LW.  This gives our coaches multiple opportunities to evaluate your daughter prior to Tryout day.  

EVALUATION CLINICS FORMAT

Each Eval Clinic will start with warmups and position drills and conclude with  game play.  Head coaches will be evaluating players  while assistant coaches facilitate the drills.  

TIP>>> Please stick around after the Eval and introduce yourself to your age group coaches so they know who you are!

No offers can be made during these clinics, however coaches can provide feedback/evaluations to players to help them understand their potential team placement at Livewire. Parents and Players are given an opportunity to ask for feedback following each Evaluation Clinic.

WHATS INCLUDED IN YOUR SEASON FEES:

IMPORTANT FACTORS TO CONSIDER WHEN COMPARING CLUB FEES:

1.  TOURNAMENTS.  How many tournaments are included in your fees?  All clubs will include the local AZ Region tournaments, but we believe Livewire does MORE additional tournaments than any other club. 
* MLK 3 Day Tournament
* Festival Fiesta 3 Day Tournament (President's Day Weekend at Cardinal's Stadium)
* AZ National Club Qualifier (for 11-13 Prime plus 14U-18U Prime and Boost teams)
* Post Season - all 11U-14U Prime & Boost teams will continue on to post season following AZ Region Championships.  Black & Red teams have post season add-on options available.
* Post Season practices, gym time, coach pay is all  included in your fees for our post season teams.

* Post Season can be added for teams that wish to continue after Region Championships.  Options include GJNC (patriot), AAU Nationals, Volleyball Festival.  Fees apply, see commitment form for detials.

2. UNIFORM PACKAGE INCLUDED IN FEES

• ALL TEAMS: spandex(2), socks(2), kneepads, practice jerseys(2), team pullover, backpack 
• JERSEYS:   2-3 Game Jerseys depending on team

3. JNQs - Out of State Junior National Qualifiers 
* How many JNQs will the team travel to?    JNQ  entry fees & Coaches' travel costs ARE included in our team fees.  The more qualifiers the team attends will account for higher fees.   No surprise billings,  you only pay for your player and family's travel expenses, airfare, hotel, food, etc.

4  SPORFIE VIDEO STREAMING Included in Fees:  All 3 courts at our facility will be streaming  so parents can view practices.  In addition, the streaming link can be shared with College Coaches giving our players additional recruiting exposure.  

5: PRACTICES: All teams practice 2-3 times per week.  2 regular practices M/W or T/R along with coach reserved courts on Fridays for 3rd practices.

6: OVERHEAD: Coach Pay, Court Time, Facility Cost, Administration, Coach Travel, Tournament Registrations, are all included.

7:  NO SURPRISE BILLINGS! Make sure to do your research when comparing fees between clubs!  

For those new to club volleyball, or new to Livewire, please read below so that you know what to expect on the big day! 

• CHECK-IN: Come prepared - verify that your tryout packet is complete so that registration/check-in goes smoothly for yourself and your athlete.  (USAV Medical Release, proof of AZ Region Membership)
• EVALUATION: Coaches will lead the players through various drills and skill assessments including game-like play as the team compositions are determined. This generally lasts for 1-1.5 hours.
• TEAMS  ANNOUNCED: Teams are announced by player tryout number.  
• COACH MEETING WITH PLAYERS & PARENTS : Players and parents are instructed to join their team's coach for a short meeting and to accept their placement on the team.  
• FINANCIAL  COMMITMENT  AGREEMENT: Your coach will hand you a Financial Commitment Agreement (link pending) which formally offers your daughter a spot on the team.  This paperwork is signed by the parent/guardian
•  A Commitment Fee must be paid in order to secure your spot on the team. Payment can be made by Check, Cash, and Credit/Debit card (credit/debit card incurs 3% added fee). >>>TIP: Avoid the 3% Online Processing Fee by bringing a check for your Commitment Fee or pay with Zelle (double check your bank for a transaction maximum amount).
• COMMITMENT AMOUNTS VARY BY TEAM:
  • $900: 10 PRIME
  • $1200: 11 PRIME, 12 BOOST, ALL BLACK & RED TEAMS
  • $1600:  12 PRIME PLUS ALL 13U-18U PRIME & BOOST TEAMS
• QR CODE - TO ACCEPT YOUR SPOT ON THE TEAM, you MUST scan the QR CODE on your offer sheet.  This will take you through the Team Registration form and payment check-out in SportsEngine.  
•  Please present your SportsEngine Team Registration confirmation email to show your payment amount when signing your Commitment Agreement. 
• UNIFORM  FITTING:  Players will be sized for uniforms after parent has finalized paperwork and paid the commitment fee.
