My passion for volleyball started with having three daughters who all played volleyball over the past 12 years. Being a volleyball parent eventually led to learning more about the game, playing in adult leagues in Peoria and Victory Lane for sand, and ultimately coaching. Having a competitive nature from my past sports involvement also gave me a desire to follow through on my coaching aspirations. Over the years, I have mentored under Chad Speer, Kyle Brainerd, Bill Bellis & Casey Spragg. I have gathered my favorite coaching aspects from each coach over the years to help develop my coaching philosophy and style of play. A blend of that and being a volleyball parent gives me a greater understanding from both sides of the fence which I incorporate into each season. I truly believe it takes a village to run a team and that starts with the players, coaches, and the parents to all be on the same page to have the best season possible!
